In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Statesboro Blue Devils volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Brunswick Pirates.

With the win, Statesboro improves its record to 20-8 on the season. The Blue Devils host Bradwell Institute (Hinesville, GA) to face the Tigers in a 5A Area 1 South test on Tuesday, September 16. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 10-11. Bradwell Institute lost 2-1 in their recent league test against South Effingham (Guyton, GA)

The Pirates now own a 23-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bradwell Institute for a 5A Area 1 South test on Tuesday, September 16. Brunswick will meet a Tigers team coming off a 2-1 league loss to South Effingham (Guyton, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 10-11.
