The Buckingham Knights prevailed the host Prince Edward County Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.
Next up, the Knights confront the Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA) in a James River game, on Thursday, September 18. Buckingham will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Statesmen enter the game with a 2-5 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Fuqua (Farmville, VA).
The Eagles (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA). The Raiders enter the James River outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Amelia County defeated Nottoway (Nottoway, VA), 3-0, in a league outing.
