The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Burke Cougars (Burke, SD) and the visiting Corsica/Stickney Jaguars (Corsica, SD), saw Burke's volleyball squad notch a victory over Corsica/Stickney by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Burke improves its record to 12-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Colome (Colome, SD) to encounter the Cowboys in a B Region 5 battle on Thursday, September 18. The Cowboys go into the battle with a record of 1-8. Colome lost 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against White River (White River, SD)

The Jaguars now hold a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ethan for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 18. Corsica/Stickney will encounter a Rustlers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Menno (Menno, SD). The Rustlers record now stands at 7-2.
