In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Early County Bobcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Calhoun County Cougars.

The Bobcats (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Chattahoochee County (Cusseta, GA). The Panthers come into the 1A Area 1 challenge with a 4-7 record. In their last challenge, Chattahoochee County lost by Harris County (Hamilton, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars play the Randolph-Clay Red Devils (Cuthbert, GA) in a 1A Area 1 challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Calhoun County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Red Devils go into the test with a 1-4 record after their 2-1 league win over Quitman County (Georgetown, GA).
