With the win, Centralia upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Orphans host Hillsboro (Hillsboro, MO) to meet the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 20. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 10-2. Hillsboro won 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Ste. Genevieve (Ste. Genevieve, MO)

In their next game, the Terriers face the Cahokia Comanches (Cahokia, IL) in a South Seven test, on Thursday, September 18. Carbondale will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record.
