Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Rusk Eagles (Rusk, TX) and the visiting Carlisle Indians (Price, TX), observed Rusk's volleyball team top Carlisle by a count of 3-0.

The Eagles (6-14) will now prepare for their contest against Diboll (Diboll, TX). The Lumberjacks enter the non-league contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Diboll was knocked off by Garrison (Garrison, TX), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Indians now own a 12-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alto for a 2A Region III District 19 battle on Friday, September 26.
