Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the South Haven Cardinals (South Haven, KS) and the visiting Central Raiders (Burden, KS), observed South Haven's volleyball team hold off Central by a count of 2-1.

The Cardinals (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Flinthills (Rosalia, KS). The Mustangs go into the South Central Border battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Flinthills tipped Caldwell (Caldwell, KS), 2-0, in a league battle.

The Raiders now own a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Vale/Dexter for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. Central will meet a Spartans team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Argonia (Argonia, KS). The Spartans record now stands at 5-6.
