In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Pine Tree Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Chapel Hill Bulldogs.

The Pirates (19-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Carthage (Carthage, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 4A Region II District 16 challenge with a 13-15 record. In their last challenge, Carthage was beaten by Spring Hill (Longview, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Henderson Lions (Henderson, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. Chapel Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 4-19 season record. The Lions go into the test with a 15-13 record after their 3-1 league win over Gilmer (Gilmer, TX).
