Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Narrows Green Waves (Narrows, VA) and the host Craig County Rockets (New Castle, VA), observed Narrows's volleyball team top Craig County by a count of 3-1.

The Green Waves (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bath County (Hot Springs, VA). The Chargers enter the Pioneer contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Bath County notched a victory over Highland (Monterey, VA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Rockets battle the Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA) in a Pioneer contest, on Thursday, September 18. Craig County will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 6-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA).
