Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the River Valley Leopards (Lakeside, CA) and the visiting Cristo Rey Coyotes (San Diego, CA), observed River Valley's volleyball team hold off Cristo Rey by a count of 3-2.

The Leopards (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against High Tech NC (San Marcos, CA). The Raptor go into the non-league battle with a 1-7 record.

The Coyotes now own a 1-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Logan Memorial Education Campus for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 18. Cristo Rey will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to The Cambridge School (San Diego, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
