The Sandy Pioneers volleyball squad scored 3 points and held the host David Douglas Scots to 1 in the Pioneers league win on Tuesday.

Next up, the Pioneers face the Clackamas Cavaliers (Clackamas, OR) in a 6A Mt. Hood game, on Thursday, September 18. Sandy will attempt to advance on its 5-2 season record. The Cavaliers go into the game with a 7-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Barlow (Gresham, OR).

The Scots (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Nelson (Happy Valley, OR). The go into the 6A Mt. Hood game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Nelson gained a win over Central Catholic (Portland, OR), 3-0, in a league game.
