Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Dyer County Choctaws (Newbern, TN) and the visiting Milan Bulldogs (Milan, TN), observed Dyer County's volleyball team top Milan by a count of 3-0.

The Choctaws (16-5) will now prepare for their contest against Dyersburg (Dyersburg, TN). The Trojans enter the AA District 13 contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Dyersburg notched a victory over Chester County (Henderson, TN), 3-2, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Crockett County Cavaliers (Alamo, TN) in a AA District 13 battle, on Thursday, September 18. Milan will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Cavaliers go into the battle with a 16-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Westview (Martin, TN).
