The Mineola Yellowjackets (Mineola, TX) volleyball knocked off the host Edgewood Bulldogs (Edgewood, TX), 3-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Yellowjackets now hold a 14-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harmony for a non-league match on Friday, September 19. Mineola will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Bullard (Bullard, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 6-8.

The Bulldogs (8-21) will now prepare for their match against Quitman (Quitman, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 3A Region II District 15 battle with a 14-14 record. In their last battle, Quitman dropped by Mineola (Mineola, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.
