Fans at Tuesday's league test between the Noxapater Tigers (Noxapater, MS) and the visiting Leake County Gators (Walnut Grove, MS), witnessed Noxapater's volleyball team overcome Leake County by a tally of 3-0.

The Tigers (9-9) will now prepare for their challenge against McAdams (McAdams, MS). The Bulldogs come into the Class 1A Region 5 challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, McAdams was beaten by Nanih Waiya (Louisville, MS), 3-0, in a league test.

The Gators now sport a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ethel for a Class 1A Region 5 test on Thursday, September 18. Leake County will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Sebastopol (Sebastopol, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 16-0.
