Lee Generals (Huntsville, AL) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad overcome the host Oakwood Academy Mustangs (Huntsville, AL), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Generals (2-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Buckhorn (New Market, AL). The Bucks come into the 6A Area 16 challenge with a 21-9 record. In their last challenge, Buckhorn beat Athens (Athens, AL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Valley Head Tigers (Valley Head, AL) in a 1A Area 16 challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Oakwood Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Fyffe (Fyffe, AL).
