With the win, Leflore County advances its record to 9-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to South Delta (Rolling Fork, MS) to face the Bulldogs in a Class 1A Region 6 test on Thursday, September 18. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 0-5. South Delta lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Riverside (Avon, MS)

The Blue Devils now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Riverside for a Class 1A Region 6 outing on Wednesday, September 17. Simmons will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league win over South Delta (Rolling Fork, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-9.
