The Lewiston Tigers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Sterling Jets to 0 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now have a 2-12 record. They play next when they host Parkview Christian for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 23.

With the loss, Sterling drops to 0-9 on the campaign. The Jets host Red Cloud (Red Cloud, NE) to play the Warriors in a non-league outing on Friday, September 19. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 8-6. Red Cloud lost 3-1 in their recent league game against Silver Lake (Roseland, NE)
