In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Pierz Pioneers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Little Falls Flyers.

The Pioneers (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Albany (Albany, MN). The Huskies come into the Granite Ridge challenge with a 10-3 record. In their last challenge, Albany lost by Pequot Lakes (Pequot Lakes, MN), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Flyers play the Pequot Lakes Patriots (Pequot Lakes, MN) in a Granite Ridge test, on Thursday, September 18. Little Falls will attempt to advance on its 0-7 season record. The Patriots go into the test with a 6-2 record after their 3-2 league win over Albany (Albany, MN).
