California High School Volleyball - Torrey Pines crushed by Mater Dei

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the Mater Dei Monarchs (Santa Ana, CA) volleyball squad toppled the visiting Torrey Pines Falcons (San Diego, CA), by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Mater Dei improves its record to 10-2 on the season. The Monarchs travel to Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV) to encounter the Gaels in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 18. The Gaels go into the battle with a record of 12-4. Bishop Gorman won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Coronado (Henderson, NV)

Next, the Falcons battle the Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 19. Torrey Pines will attempt to improve on its 13-3 season record. The Nighthawks go into the battle with a 8-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ).
