With the win, New Hope improves its record to 7-19 on the season. The Trojans travel to Columbus (Columbus, MS) to encounter the Falcons in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 18. The Falcons go into the battle with a record of 2-12. Columbus lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Caledonia (Caledonia, MS)

The Green Wave now own a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pontotoc for a Class 5A Region 1 battle on Thursday, September 18. West Point will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Lafayette (Oxford, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 10-12.
