Kansas High School Volleyball - Nickerson tips Pratt

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Nickerson Panthers (Nickerson, KS) and the host Pratt Greenbacks (Pratt, KS), observed Nickerson's volleyball team hold off Pratt by a count of 2-1.

The Panthers (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against St. John (St. John, KS). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, St. John was edged by Kiowa County (Greensburg, KS), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Greenbacks now own a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Smoky Valley for a Central Kansas battle on Tuesday, September 16. Pratt will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Ellinwood (Ellinwood, KS). The Vikings record now stands at 6-9.
