Connecticut High School Volleyball - Waterbury Career Academy tips Oxford

September 16, 2025: Oxford, CT 06478

In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Waterbury Career Academy Spartans volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Oxford Wolverines.

The Spartans (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Torrington (Torrington, CT). The Raiders go into the Naugatuck Valley test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Torrington was edged by St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT), 3-0, in a league test.

The Wolverines now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Paul Catholic for a Naugatuck Valley test on Friday, September 19. Oxford will meet a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 league win over Ansonia (Ansonia, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 4-3.
