The Pirates (13-1) will now prepare for their contest against Croatan (Newport, NC). The Cougars enter the Coastal 5A/6A contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Croatan notched a victory over Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Wildcats battle the Havelock Rams (Havelock, NC) in a Coastal 5A/6A contest, on Thursday, September 18. Richlands will attempt to move on its 1-13 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 0-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to Northside - Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC).
