The Riverheads Gladiators volleyball squad (Staunton, VA), dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA)

With the win, Wilson Memorial improves its record to 7-1 on the year. The Green Hornets travel to Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA) to meet the Indians in a Shenandoah contest on Thursday, September 18. The Indians enter the contest with a record of 11-0. Fort Defiance won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA)

Next, the Gladiators meet the Strasburg Rams (Strasburg, VA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 18. Riverheads will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 3-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Stonewall Jackson (Quicksburg, VA).
