The Willamette Wolverines volleyball squad (Eugene, OR), was defeated 3-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR)

The Irish (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against South Medford (Medford, OR). The Panthers enter the 6A Southwest challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, South Medford beat Roseburg (Roseburg, OR), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines meet the Grants Pass Cavemen (Grants Pass, OR) in a 6A Southwest challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Willamette will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Cavemen enter the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Sheldon (Eugene, OR).
