The Hurricanes (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lutheran (Metairie, LA). The Gryphons enter the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Lutheran was defeated by South Plaquemines (Buras, LA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Buccaneers now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carver Collegiate Academy for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 18. West Jefferson will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Landry (New Orleans, LA). The Rams record now stands at 4-3.
