The Penncrest Lions football team (Media, PA), was beaten 21-9 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers (Newtown Square, PA)
The Fightin' Tigers (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Haverford (Havertown, PA). The Fords come into the Central challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Haverford was beaten by Ridley (Folsom, PA), 45-21, in a league challenge.
The Lions now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Lower Merion for a Central challenge on Friday, September 24. Penncrest will meet a Aces team coming off a 40-14 league loss to Conestoga (Berwyn, PA). The Aces record now stands at 2-2.
