New York High School Football - Wantagh topples Bethpage

September 17, 2022: Bethpage, NY 11714

The Wantagh Warriors (Wantagh, NY) football defeated the host Bethpage Golden Eagles (Bethpage, NY), 20-0 in Saturday's league bout.

In their next game, the Warriors face the Division Blue Dragons (Levittown, NY) in a Section 8 Conference III bout, on Saturday, September 24. Wantagh will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Blue Dragons enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 32-19 league loss to Valley Stream North (Franklin Square, NY).

The Golden Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Hewlett (Hewlett, NY). The Bulldogs enter the Section 8 Conference III bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Hewlett lost by Roosevelt (Roosevelt, NY), 33-13, in a league bout.
