The South Anchorage Wolverines football team (Anchorage, AK), was beaten 35-13 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Juneau-Douglas/Thunder Mountain Huskies (Juneau, AK)
The Huskies (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Service (Anchorage, AK). The Cougars come into the Cook Inlet challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Service knocked off Dimond (Anchorage, AK), 30-25, in a league challenge.
The Wolverines now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bartlett for a Cook Inlet challenge on Saturday, September 24. South Anchorage will meet a Golden Bears team coming off a 46-7 league win over Colony (Palmer, AK). The Golden Bears record now stands at 4-1.
