In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Leavitt Hornets soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Edward Little Red Eddies.
The Hornets (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Erskine Academy (South China, ME). The Eagles come into the Class B - South battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Erskine Academy was nudged by Oceanside (Rockland, ME), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
The Red Eddies (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Oxford Hills (South Paris, ME). The Vikings come into the Class A - North battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Oxford Hills nudged Messalonskee (Oakland, ME), 2-1, in a league battle.
