In Saturday's league battle, the host Medomak Valley Panthers soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Lincoln Academy Eagles.
The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Morse (Bath, ME). The Shipbuilders come into the Class B - South battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Morse was nudged by Brunswick (Brunswick, ME), 7-1, in a non-league battle.
The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Oceanside (Rockland, ME). The Mariners come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Oceanside nudged Erskine Academy (South China, ME), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
