Open Door Christian Patriots (Elyria, OH) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Lorain Titans (Lorain, OH), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Patriots confront the Brookside Cardinals (Sheffield, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 19. Open Door Christian will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Edison (Milan, OH).
The Titans now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bedford for a Lake Erie - Erie challenge on Tuesday, September 20. Lorain will confront a Bearcats team coming off a 8-8 non-league Springfield (Akron, OH). The Bearcats record now stands at 2-6.
