Maine Central Institute Huskies (Pittsfield, ME) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME), 8-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Huskies confront the Lawrence Bulldogs (Fairfield, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 20. Maine Central Institute will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME).

The Mustangs now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nokomis for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 20. Mount View will confront a Warriors team coming off a 1-1 league Cony (Augusta, ME). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.
