PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Mingo Central Miners (Matewan, WV), 3-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers confront the Pocahontas County Warriors (Dunmore, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 20. PikeView will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 1-1 non-league Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV).

The Miners now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Logan for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 19. Mingo Central will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to St. Joseph Central (Huntington, WV). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-4.
