North Bergen Bruins (North Bergen, NJ) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting St. Dominic Academy Blue Devils (Jersey City, NJ), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Bruins confront the Bayonne Bees (Bayonne, NJ) in a Hudson County - Coviello challenge, on Tuesday, September 20. North Bergen will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Bees enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Notre Dame Academy (Staten Island, NY).
The Blue Devils now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Paramus Catholic for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 19. St. Dominic Academy will confront a Paladins team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Teaneck (Teaneck, NJ). The Paladins record now stands at 3-0.
