The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Rancho Cotate Cougars (Rohnert Park, CA) and the visiting Petaluma Trojans (Petaluma, CA), saw Rancho Cotate's volleyball squad nip Petaluma by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Rancho Cotate upgrades its record to 8-4 on the year. The Cougars host Montgomery (Santa Rosa, CA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 17. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Montgomery won 2-0 in their recent league bout against St. Vincent de Paul (Petaluma, CA)

The Trojans now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Vintage for a bout on Tuesday, September 20.
