In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Plainfield North Tigers soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Oswego East Wolves.
The Tigers (11-2) will now prepare for their battle against Aurora East (Aurora, IL). The Tomcats go into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Aurora East nipped Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Wolves (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL). The Cougars go into the Suburban Prairie battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Plainfield South was nudged by Sandburg (Orland Park, IL), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
