With the triumph, Pepperell moves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Dragons host Murray County (Chatsworth, GA) to play the Indians in a non-league contest on Monday, September 19. The Indians come into the contest with a record of 2-10. Murray County lost 12-9 in their recent league contest against Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA)

In their next game, the Eagles play the Darlington Tigers (Rome, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 7 contest, on Tuesday, September 20. Coosa will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 4-9 record after their 10-7 non-league loss to Model (Rome, GA).
