Georgia High School Softball - New Hampstead bounces First Preparatory Christian Academy

The New Hampstead Phoenix routed the visiting First Preparatory Christian Academy Highlanders softball squad by a final score of 14-2 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Phoenix (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty County (Hinesville, GA). The Panthers go into the non-league battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Liberty County was routed by Calvary Day (Savannah, GA), 15-0, in a league battle.
The Highlanders now possess a 0-4 record. They play next when they host David Emanuel Academy for a GIAA 2A battle on Tuesday, September 20. First Preparatory Christian Academy will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-8.
