Georgia High School Softball - Marion County bounces Lee County

The Marion County Eagles routed the host Lee County Trojans softball squad by a count of 9-4 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Eagles (12-5) will now prepare for their battle against Hawkinsville (Hawkinsville, GA). The Red Devils go into the non-league battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, Hawkinsville was routed by Wilcox County (Rochelle, GA), 7-2, in a league battle.

The Trojans now sport a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Columbus for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 17. Lee County will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 10-4 non-league loss to Harris County (Hamilton, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 12-4.
