The Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Bethel Warriors to 0 in the Crimson Bears non-league victory on Saturday.
The Crimson Bears now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thunder Mountain for a 4A Southeast game on Friday, September 23. Juneau-Douglas will meet a Falcons team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Nikiski (Nikiski, AK). The Falcons record now stands at 7-2.
The Warriors (1-19) will now prepare for their game against Barrow (Utqiagvik, AK). The Whalers enter the 3A Western game with a 4-8 record. In their last game, Barrow dropped by Homer (Homer, AK), 2-0, in a non-league game.
