The Bloom Blazing Trojan topped the visiting Hillcrest Hawks volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Blazing Trojan now have a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southland College Prep for a non-league test on Saturday, September 17. Bloom will confront a team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL). The record now stands at 0-4.

The Hawks (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL). The Red Wolves enter the South Suburban test with a 5-12 record. In their last test, Thornton Fractional South was knocked off by Danville (Danville, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
