The Bridgeport Bulldogs (Bridgeport, NE) volleyball overcame the visiting Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Bridgeport upgrades its record to 7-7 on the year. The Bulldogs host Leyton (Dalton, NE) to face the Warriors in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 17. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 6-3. Leyton lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Anselmo-Merna (Merna, NE)

The Plainsmen now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Bayard for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 17. Perkins County will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Mitchell (Mitchell, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 6-0.
