The Bridgewater/Emery Huskies (Emery, SD) volleyball nudged the host Viborg/Hurley Cougars (Viborg, SD), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Bridgewater/Emery upgrades its record to 5-6 on the year. The Huskies host Canistota (Canistota, SD) to face the Hawks in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 17. The Hawks go into the outing with a record of 3-7. Canistota lost 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Hanson (Alexandria, SD)

The Cougars now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Menno for a B Region 5 outing on Tuesday, September 20. Viborg/Hurley will face a Wolves squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Viborg/Hurley (Viborg, SD). The Wolves record now stands at 3-9.
