Illinois High School Volleyball - Highland can't hold off Carbondale

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Carbondale Terriers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Highland Bulldogs.

The Terriers (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against Robinson (Robinson, IL). The Maroons come into the non-league battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Robinson nudged Mt. Carmel (Mt. Carmel, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Wesclin Warriors (Trenton, IL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 19. Highland will attempt to advance on its 7-7 season record. The Warriors come into the battle with a 10-5 record after their 2-0 league win over Okawville (Okawville, IL).
