California High School Volleyball - Chester can't hold off Quincy

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Quincy Trojans volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Chester Volcanoes.

The Trojans (9-13) will now prepare for their battle against Pyramid Lake (Nixon, NV). The Lakers come into the non-league battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Pyramid Lake nudged Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Volcanoes clash with the Westwood Lumberjacks (Westwood, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 17. Chester will attempt to advance on its 14-4 season record. The Lumberjacks come into the battle with a 5-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Elk Creek (Elk Creek, CA).
