The Timberwolves (12-1) will now prepare for their battle against Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Illini Bluffs achieved victory over Illini Central (Mason City, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Clinton Maroons (Clinton, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 17. Gardner-South Wilmington will attempt to advance on its 5-10 season record. The Maroons come into the battle with a 4-9 record after their 2-0 league win over Sullivan (Sullivan, IL).
