The Spearfish Spartans volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Douglas Patriots to 0 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.

The Spartans now have a 4-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mitchell for a non-league game on Saturday, September 17. Spearfish will meet a Kernels team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Yankton (Yankton, SD). The Kernels record now stands at 3-6.
