The Floyd County Buffaloes volleyball team (Floyd, VA), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA)
The Terriers (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Cavaliers come into the Blue Ridge challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Lord Botetourt defeated James River (Buchanan, VA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Buffaloes encounter the Christiansburg Blue Demons (Christiansburg, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 19. Floyd County will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Blue Demons come into the challenge with a 8-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA).
