In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Marengo Indians volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the River Ridge Wildcats.
The Indians (13-8) will now prepare for their battle against Woodstock (Woodstock, IL). The Blue Streaks come into the Kishwaukee River battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, Woodstock achieved victory over Sycamore (Sycamore, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Wildcats encounter the Durand Bulldogs (Durand, IL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 20. River Ridge will attempt to advance on its 8-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 13-5 record after their 2-1 league loss to Aquin Catholic (Freeport, IL).
